What is your greatest achievement in life so far?
Always finding the joy in life even when it got hard.
What is your #1 pet peeve?
I HATE the feeling of the styrofoam on the cardboard splints. And velvet.
What is your most memorable moment in your EMS career?
Just being able to work with my mother and sister, also laughing so hard I couldn’t breath with my coworkers.
What is your favorite movie or play?
Labyrinth for a movie or Beetlejuice for a play.
What would constitute a perfect EMS crew member?
Someone who genuinely has passion for what they do and are considerate to others, keeping their work environment tidy.
What is your best kept secret?
I don’t really have any secrets, I’m an open book.
What would you consider your worst habit?
Not speaking up for myself more often.
Who is your greatest inspiration in your life?
This is mushy, but my husband. He works hard and has gone above and beyond for me despite both of our past experiences.
What is your favorite food item?
French fries.
What would be considered luxury to you?
New tattoos and piercings.
If you could meet anyone in the history of the world, who and why?
My grandfather on my dads side, he passed before I could ever really meet him and he has always sounded like such an amazing person.
What would your epitaph say?
“Here lies Maddy, she was aight. ”
What is your favorite type of music?
I listen to everything from heavy metal to pop music and musicals, I don’t really have a favorite.
Where would you like to grow old?
Away from people, preferably deep in a forest by a river with my thousands of pets and my husband.
