“Do what you love, Love what you do.”
What is your greatest achievement in life so far?
Changing careers in my late 30's, getting my Paramedic while working a full time job.
What is your #1 pet peeve?
Mean people--In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
What is your most memorable moment in your EMS career?
I have many, but most recently a moment I will remember forever--Rolling through the doors of an
assisted living facility and seeing the faces of an elderly woman and her granddaughter who have not seen each other in
person in a year due to Covid. They couldn't get too close, but just close enough to touch hands.
What is your favorite movie or play?
The Greatest Showman
What would constitute a perfect EMS crew member?
Someone that wakes up each day ready for the opportunity to help others. Knowledgeable and kind with a sense of humor.
What is your best kept secret?
I just learned how to use Venmo and Paypal.
What would you consider your worst habit?
Definitely biting my fingernails.
Greatest inspiration in your life?
My nephew Noah. He had a stoke right after birth, which resulted in Cerebral Palsy and Lennox Gastaut Syndrome. In a world where he is seen to have limitations, I see possibilities.
What is your favorite food item?
Mexican. I love Chips, Salsa and Cheese dip.
What would be considered luxury to you?
Wants not needs.
If you could meet anyone in the history of the world, who and why?
Dolly Parton. She seems extremely humble, always herself and appears to remember where she came from.
What would your epitaph say?
“Life is short, buy the shoes.”
What is your favorite type of music?
Country music, old and new.
Where would you like to grow old?
Anywhere with white sand and blue water.
