Administrative Services Division
The Administrative Services Division manages essential support functions, including staffing recruitment, team member
services, billing and collections, records requests, and ensuring efficient operations.
Employee Services
Employee Services manages employee records, coordinates with Greenville County Human Resources, conducts new hire Assessment
Centers, and supports New Employee Orientation Programs. To remain competitive, positions and salaries are reviewed
periodically with adjustment recommendations submitted to County Administration.
Recruitment and Retention
Greenville County EMS actively collaborates with the community to build a diverse workforce that truly reflects the populations
and communities served. To address workforce challenges, the department has launched local and national advertising campaigns to recruit future staff.
Greenville County EMS fosters a strong team culture so all feel valued and supported. Employee appreciation events, including family night programs
and the highly anticipated annual awards celebration, recognize dedicated and engaged professionals.
Safety and Compliance
The Safety and Compliance staff promotes a culture of safety to minimize risk and ensures the organization delivers high-quality
emergency care in full compliance with relevant laws and standards. Emphasis is placed on team member safety so that
all practices are conducive to a risk-free work environment and promoting the well-being of both EMS personnel and the community served.
Finances
The financial team manages revenue cycle activities and collaborates with contracted billing and collections providers to ensure patient care records are complete and compliant.
