Public records that have not been filed electronically are available for inspection on the second floor of the Greenville County Courthouse, which is located in downtown Greenville at 305 East North Street. Clerk of Court staff can assist you with copying and/or printing public records. The cost for copies and printouts is twenty-five cents ($.25) per page. The Clerk of Court’s office can also certify and seal copies and printouts for ten dollars ($10.00) per document. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, money order, business check, or credit or debit card payments (requires an additional processing fee added to the charge).

Please note that some older files may not be available for immediate viewing and will have to be requested from the Clerk of Court’s off-site record retention facilities. Off-site files are generally available for viewing at the Clerk of Court’s office within a couple of business days after the request has been made.
