Winter Update 2023

Spring Update 2022

The County Administration building remains on schedule with significant visible and internal progress. Installation of electrical, mechanical and plumbing components is next as the project construction is expected to be completed by the end of the calendar year. Complete transition from current County Square site to the new facility is expected by Summer of 2023. Plans for development around the Administration building have been presented by RocaPoint Partners. Please see the GSA Business Report.

On Jan. 4, groundbreaking was celebrated for the beautiful and iconic County Administrative building. Vertical construction has begun with expected completion in early 2023.

Summer Update 2020

Construction fencing is up and site work has begun on the area that will eventually house the County Administrative Building. Over the next few months, residents will see the groundwork being laid for a walkable environment that will be a vibrant extension to downtown Greenville.

State Offices

Several State of South Carolina government offices that are currently located on University Ridge will be relocated to 350 and 352 Halton Road in Greenville. Greenville County has executed a lease/purchase to provide approximately 240,000 square feet of office space to be used by DHEC, DSS, DHHS, DJJ, Family Court, Probation, Parole and Pardon, and more.
