The Greenville County Department of Public Safety - Records Management Services Division
is a centralized records management operation for the Greenville County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) and the
Greenville City Police Department (GPD). The Division also manages the processing and release of records
from the Greenville County Detention Center, to include inmate medical records.
The Public Safety – Records Division is not over the management of other County Departments (Procurement,
Register of Deeds, Permits, etc.). You can submit your request via the
Greenville County Attorney.
