The purpose of the Chanticleer Community Commission is to provide, within the district, security and property protection, control litter and other health hazards along the public rights-of-way, maintain and promote improvements for the entrances and exits and rights-of-way.

The Chanticleer Community Commission is the governing body of the Chanticleer Community Special Tax District consisting of five (5) members who serve three (3) year staggered terms and are appointed by County Council. All members of the Commission shall reside within the geographical boundaries of the special tax district. 

The board meets on an as needed basis.
