Kelly Long is a life-long resident of Greer and District 18, Greenville County. She has spent 30 plus years in banking and finance and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in Business Management from North Greenville University. She is a mortgage broker in Greer, serves on the Leadership Greer Board of Regents at the Greer Chamber, President of the Camellia Garden Club of Greer, and serves on the Board of the Garden Clubs of SC as the Wildlife Habitat Chairman for the State.
Kelly’s expertise lies in budgeting, financial management, and commercial and residential lending. She also has served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee for her Church. Recently, Kelly was honored by her church for leading her finance committee and church to eradicate their debt within 7 months. Kelly has been married to Barry Long of Greer for 39 years, and has two sons and five grandchildren. She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, hiking, shooting, and raising Monarch Butterflies. She is referred to as “The Southern Monarch” by butterfly enthusiast across the southeast. Kelly believes in transparency in finances and preserving the natural beauty of Greenville County. She is excited to serve the people and give them a voice in local governance.
