There will be a public hearing before County Council on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of hearing those persons interested in the following items: This meeting will be held electronically with remote participation. Anyone wishing to comment on the following rezoning dockets must register to speak by email to johenderson@greenvillecounty.org and pgucker@greenvillecounty.org no later than noon on Friday, June 12, 2020. Your full name, address, phone number and docket number must be included in the email. Once you are registered you will receive an invitation with the directions for joining the meeting, time limits apply. There will be ten minutes total allotted for speakers in favor and ten minutes allotted for speakers in opposition. Once the ten minutes is up the time to speak has ended. Probate Court Notice

To prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, entrance to the Probate Court offices will be controlled in order to limit the number of people in the offices. Tax Collection

Greenville County encourages those needing to pay taxes to avoid coming inside County Square. Citizens can pay property taxes through the mail, the internet or by using the convenient dropbox located outside the Tax Office. The County accepts credit and debit card payments on our website, online. From now until August 31, the County will waive the online service fee provided by SC.GOV, our third-party provider.
The service fee for Hospitality Taxes will also be waived until August 31st.

The Greenville County Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is an annual review that is transmitted to the local governing body; the State Flood Mitigation Program Administrator; and, the general public in accordance with CRS program requirements. The Plan and this update are available in the Floodplain Administrator’s Office for public review.

The new FEMA Flood Insurance Maps with effective date of January 18, 2019 for the unincorporated areas of Greenville County are available for public use and can be accessed at Floodplain Management.
